Born in the tiny town of Mad River in northern California, Dr. Michael D. Young was raised in Nevada where he went to high school and spent countless hours playing soccer, football, basketball and pretty much any sport he could get involved in. From there he attended an all-spanish school in Valencia, Spain before returning home to attend the University of Nevada, Reno. He then attended and graduated with honors from Life Chiropractic College West (San Francisco area) in March of 2002. Inspired with the healing benefits of chiropractic adjustments, he moved to Southern Oregon and opened a private practice where he began giving chiropractic care to people of all ages, from new born babies to men and women nearing 100 years of age. After a successful 12 years practicing in Oregon, Dr. Young, took two years off to travel the world with his family. Upon returning to the States, he practiced successfully in Nashville for 6 years and has now lives and practices in Central Florida with his wife Karina and his two children.
For decades, Dr. Young has been fascinated and passionate about achieving and maintaining higher levels of health through safe and effective spinal and extremity adjustments. He says he is excited to be an Orlando chiropractor because he sees first hand how regular chiropractic adjustments help so many people to heal from old injuries, as well as achieve, and maintain a much healthier spine and body!”
Each year Dr. Young travels abroad to participate in chiropractic humanitarian efforts to deliver much needed chiropractic care to underserved populations.
On his free time, Dr. Young enjoys camping and water sports in and around Florida, doing projects with his wife and two children, and playing guitar.
